Advance copies, trade reviews, and the deadlines that pass before you knew they existed. Library catalogues. Awards with entry windows measured in months.
A publisher handles some of it. Nobody tells you which parts, or what is left for you.
AuthorChecklist is the organized, plain-English guide I wish I had at the beginning. It covers the whole life of a book, from the identifiers to the awards, and says what matters, when it matters, and who should handle it.
The checklist and the tracker
The checklist is free to read, all of it. The tracker is for keeping your own book on it: what is done, what is due, and what you can safely skip. It is one payment per book, and every edition and format of that book is included.
